Stop Motion Puppet Construction Using Molding and Casting

Mold making can seem like an alchemist’s game with its variety of materials to choose from and chemical compatibility issues between the mold and casting material. This course is designed for novice and intermediate mold-makers looking to produce a working stop motion puppet. Molding and casting with flexible silicone offers two key benefits when creating puppets: Professional looking results and the ability to make exact, multiple copies.
In this course you’ll create a simple and durable wire armature, sculpt your own puppet (this may require some homework), create a two-part mold and finally cast your puppet (along with your armature).
