Forum Bugs

Post by Togashi Rogi »

Hi All,

In our continuing effort to improve things, I'd like any bugs you notice on the forums to be posted here. We'll delete the posts from this thread as the bugs are repaired (to keep it easy for the admins to reference).

Thanks!

note from Pellanor: I'll be keeping an updated list of bugs here in the first post. As bugs are fixed I'll also edit the message in which they were first pointed out. My edits will be in this same font colour.

Current Bug List:
- http:// needs to be included at the start of website in profile
- Main Page not displaying smilies (phpbb_fetch_all/common.php line 504, smilies_pass() not found).

Fixed Bugs:
- Avatar Upload not working. [2006-03-30]
- Date not showing on posts. [2007-08-04]
- Error Message on Member List page. [2007-08-04]
- Announcements aren't global (not a bug so much as an extra feature I want to add) [2007-08-04]
- Need to Log On twice. - This seems to be isolated to only El Prezo's laptop. Anybody else have this problem? [2007-08-04]
- Main page not pulling data from new forum. [2007-08-05]
- Forum logo needs to be updated. [2007-08-05]

I can't upload my avatar (it gives a fairly lengthy error message).

Bug has been fixed 2006-03-30.

I tried logging in and it worked just fine for me. Is anybody else having the same problem where you have to log in twice?

I just installed a couple of Mods tonight, so there's likely going to be a few bugs. Let me know what you come accross.

I noticed that you can't see (or at least I can't see :P) the date that a post was made. In the general index it lists the "last post" date & time but when you're actually reading the thread you can't tell when a post was made.

Okay, I fixed two of the bugs that were sitting around from the upgrades yesterday. Also added one minor bug.

I should have a lot more free time come September, at least until I get a part time job, so I'll make sure to tackle some of the issues that are still around.

The latest upgrade appears to have solved my "login twice" problem too.

The calendar appears to be malfunctioning. The date for the August meeting is wrong & I can't fix it.

I also can't seem to post calendar events (like new meetings).

Date is fixed.

As for you being unable to change the date, I think you may have gotten deleted from the administrators group. You're in there now if you weren't before. Give it a test the next chance you get and let me know how it works.
