Feedback on New Site

Post by Pellanor »

Okay, we need to get the new site layout finished, and at the rate I've been working on it, it won't be done till next year.

So for now, I'll just post a link and you all can take a look, and tell me what you think.

http://jawscalgary.com/test/

At the moment I'm looking to get the menu fixed, so that it's the same height all the way across. I also wat to get the links on the menu to all point to something, besides a "Page not found" error. Currently the schedule is the only one that's working.

I also need to get the front page to only show posts in the news and schedule page.

If anybody's interested in doing some artwork to go on the left side banner there, feel free to post it. Anything that's long and skinny [200 pixels wide], and is PG rated will be considered, though getting new art up there currently isn't high on my priority list.

Anyways, give me your suggestions, let me know what you think will look better, and feel free to volunteer for anything. More help is always appreciated.

Feedback on New Site - Version 2

Post by anifan »

Hi, I had some comments about the latest incarnation of the website.

Under General Discussion, shouldn't the Something interesting for Jan Meet. be moved under AMVs? Also how about moving [Poll] AMV Awards 2007, and Moved: AMV Awards (from the previous year), from JAWS General to AMVs?

While it's partly Kim's fault for putting Suggested anime under General Discussion, it's hard to maintain a thread when Suggestions is still not merged with Anime for Showing.

Finally, JAWS' annual Xmas bash has been moved from General Discussion to News - but it's still up and functional in the old location - and posting to one will appear in the other as well. I realize that the site is still "under construction", and some stuff is missing, but there are a few glitches that need to be looked at.
